Some have argued that a 4-day work week is the solution to burnout.

The additional day off not only provides a chance for physical relaxation but also offers an opportunity for individuals to engage in activities they enjoy. Whether it be pursuing hobbies, spending quality time with loved ones, or simply having a quiet day for self-care, this extra day can significantly contribute to overall well-being and mental health.

For instance, service-based industries like healthcare or retail might struggle to accommodate a compressed schedule while ensuring optimal patient or customer service. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial factors to consider when exploring the viability of this approach in different sectors.
