Since starting my 100 Days of Say Yes Experiences, I’ve faced my fears (cats–very afraid of them), embraced speed (NASCAR racing), and embarrassment (wearing a bikini in busy Fort Worth Stockyards). But nothing could have prepared me for this.
A colleague reached out to me and said for the past 10 months she’s been in a really bad place. Tears fill my eyes as she shares more. Her 18-year-old grandson was in a room with a friend when a gun accidentally went off and killed him.
She was very close with her grandson, so it has been extremely hard for her.
She recently saw one of my Say Yes Experience posts where I got up early to see the sunrise.
She loves the morning but hasn’t seen the sunrise in a long time, so she vowed to do it the next morning. She did and took a picture of it.
She says to me, “I needed this so badly.”
I replied, “The sunrise is like your grandson giving you a hug.”
We were crying.
I never imagined The Say Yes Experience to make that kind of impact, and I’m so grateful it’s helping people.
Since starting The Say Yes Experience, I hear daily the difference it’s making:
* “This is so inspiring. Keep going.”
* “Because of you, I’ve Said Yes to thing I never would have before and had so much fun.”
* “You are the light in my days. I can’t wait to see what you do next.”
It seems we all need more positivity, inspiration and hope.
I hope it inspires you to Say Yes and watch the possibilities unravel in your life.
The Say Yes Experience podcast launches this month, so stay tuned for that announcement.
